Employee Pre-Registration
The employer is required to register all employees (both Czech and foreign) before they commence work. This can be done by submitting a full registration containing all the necessary information (via the separate Employee Registration service), or by submitting a partial registration (also known as pre-registration) which requires the employer to provide only the basic information about the person.
Pre-registration is only available for non-foreign employees.
The Employee Pre-Registration service allows employers to:
- partially register an employee within the scope of the necessary information
- notify that an employee has not commenced work.
When carrying out the pre-registration process, the employer must provide the following information:
- first name,
- surname,
- birth surname,
- birth number,
- place of birth,
- employee’s citizenship,
- the expected date of commencement of work,
- employer's variable symbol.
The employer is required to complete full registration with all the required details via the Employee Registration within 8 days of the employee commencement of work.
