1. The form can be used by the employer to fulfil the employer's legal obligation to report changes to the employee's data and to report any corrections to data that was erroneously entered on the employee's application

The territorial competence of the DSSA for submitting the Notification of employment form is governed by the employer's registered office, if this registered office is the same as the location of the wages department or if the employer does not have a wages department. If an employer has a wages department and the location of the wages department is not the same as the employer's registered office, the territorial competence of the DSSA’ is governed by the location of the wages department. Competence is also governed by the location of the wages department in cases where the employer has several wages departments, in which case the DSSA provides sickness insurance for those employees for whom the wages department keeps wages records.
